2nd Annual Christmas Market!

Join us for a festive afternoon of holiday shopping at the Daughters of Penelope (DOP) Tethys #229's 2nd Annual Christmas Market. Over 20 vendors have been curated for this event, from jewelry, to homegoods, food items, books and toys, etc. Please see the FAQs for the full vendor list.

There will also be kids crafts and pictures with Santa. The Christmas Market will run from 12- 3 pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road in Piscataway, NJ, in our community center. Parking and event entrance are free! Proceeds from the event will support the NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking and other local philanthropies.

Founded in 1950, Daughters of Penelope Tethys chapter #229 is dedicated to charitable efforts in the greater New Brunswick, NJ area. Supporting DOP District 5 and National projects, Tethys #229 also supports local non-profits like St. George Greek Orthodox Church (Piscataway) and its ministries; Agape House; Women Aware; Elijah’s Promise; Ronald McDonald House of Central Jersey; the Hellenic Dancers of NJ; St. Basil’s Academy; NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking, and the 5th District AHEPA Family Cancer Research Foundation, etc. Additionally, the chapter offers several local scholarships.
