This April, step into a realm where heritage meets high fashion. UPlift Black and the UPlift Black Artist Collective invite you to the 2nd Annual Afrofusion Fashion Show—an immersive journey through the timelines of fashion, culture, and community resilience. This isn't just a runway; it’s an investment in our community. All proceeds directly support the advocacy, education, and initiatives of the 12 member organizations within the Simcoe County Black Coalition. By joining us, you are helping dismantle barriers and celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of Simcoe County.
The Experience:
The Runway: A world-class showcase of 7 visionary Black designers—from the award-winning mastery of Kyle Gervacy and Qweenfecy Clothing to the luxury streetwear of KHAM!
The Hosts: Guided by the electric energy of singer-rapper Bianca Bridge and 2024 Canadian Black Screen Award-winner Emmm.
The Ultimate Experience: VIP guests enjoy a private pre-reception, front row seating, designer meet-and-greets, and all-inclusive access to the luxury after-party.
The After-Party: We’re turning up the night at LVXBEAUTY with a "diasporic listening experience" curated by international DJ DESIIRE.
