2nd Anniversary of the Album Listening & Live Music Fundraiser Event for Dorothy House Hospice

We are celebrating our second anniversary of the Album Listening Event fundraiser for Dorothy House Hospice with free live music at The Old Road Tavern Chippenham on Thursday 20th Aug starting at 8pm.

Local band Random Shapes will showcase their debut album ‘Crinkles’ which was released very recently on July 24th. They will introduce their record which we will listen to in full from their vinyl test-pressing copy and they will play a few tracks live for us.

The band also had no hesitation in selecting a favourite classic album for us to listen to and discuss – the 2002 release from The Flaming Lips ‘Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots.’

We will include a fun prize draw raffle during the evening, but there is no charge for attending and all are welcome to drop in for part of the time or stay for the whole evening. Voluntary donations in aid of the vital work of our local hospice are of course welcomed, however.
