Covenant Community, Inc. Hosts the 29th Annual Men of Hope Thanksgiving Dinner
Providing Over 400 Dignified Dinners and Essential Resources to Atlanta’s Unhoused Community Atlanta, GA – Covenant Community, Inc. proudly announces the 29th Annual Men of Hope Thanksgiving Dinner, an event that has been serving over 400 meals annually to Atlanta’s unhoused population for nearly three decades. This year’s dinner will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Ellis Hall on the campus of All Saints' Episcopal
Church (634 West Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308).
The event features a dignified, table-served Thanksgiving dinner and an accompanying Community Resource Fair, offering critical services to attendees. Fayetteville Mayor, Rev. Edward Johnson, a strong advocate for those affected by homelessness and addiction, will share words of encouragement during the event.
The resource fair, running from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, will connect guests with healthcare services, housing resources, addiction recovery support, and employment opportunities. Dinner will be served from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Volunteers from All Saints' Episcopal Church, Kroger, Gathering Industries, Flat Rock A.M.E. Church, Blueprint Church, Woodforest Bank, Emory Hospital, and Covenant Community’s dedicated team will help make this event a success. Their contributions ensure the day will offer more than just a meal—it will provide hope, healing, and essential resources to those in need.
“We believe in the power of community and healing,” says Wil Garlick, Man of Hope from Covenant Community Inc. “Our goal is to not only provide a meal but also to offer the support and resources that make long-term recovery possible for those struggling with addiction.”
