29th Annual Erik Proffitt #19 Memorial Golf Tournament

The Erik Proffitt #19 Scholarship Golf Tournament is the primary fundraising event in support of the Erik Proffitt #19 Memorial Soccer Fund (“The Fund”). The Fund has a two-fold purpose.
The first purpose is to provide college scholarships for select Northwest High School seniors participating in the soccer program. Each year The Fund recognizes senior players from both the boys and girls soccer programs by awarding scholarships based on academic performance and service to the community. Awardees are recognized in the spring at an awards ceremony hosted by Northwest High School and are introduced at the annual scholarship golf tournament.
Second, The Fund provides financial support for the maintenance and improvement of the Erik Proffitt #19 Memorial Soccer Complex. The complex is located on the campus of Wichita Northwest High School at 1220 North Tyler Road and has long been recognized as the premier high school soccer facility in South Central Kansas. The complex is one of only two in the Greater Wichita Athletic League with natural grass turf. Recent improvements include a new state of the art sound system as well as buildings for both the referees and the athletic trainer.
A long-range goal and vision of The Fund is to build locker rooms at the complex for both the home and visiting teams to enjoy on game days.
Your support of the golf tournament makes all of this possible. On behalf of the thousands of students who have benefitted from the soccer program at Northwest High School including those who played for the Grizzlies or those who played against the Grizzlies at the complex, we thank you.
