28Q620 Lighthouse Visit - Student Voice and Agency (June)

Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical High School includes grades 9-12 and is located in Jamaica, Queens. At this Lighthouse visit participants will see how their unique curriculum approach disrupts traditional teaching models and empowers students to develop voice and agency. They will also learn about the school's journey in creating student designers, and explore methods used to cultivate their talents. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BRING A STUDENT WITH YOU (2 students max. per school. Please separately register each, selecting ‘student’ as their role).

This Lighthouse visit will highlight:

• Methods used by the school to develop student designers
• Student-led panel discussions
• Student-led initiatives
