Announcing the biggest event at Radio City in 2024!
This October we will be hosting BAY DAYS with a phenomenal line up of local bands and a couple Radio City favourites from further afield.
FRIDAY 25th October - 5pm - 2am
Opening the show will be the fantastic @amoristband bring their hardcore-metalcore fusion energy to the stage.
Second up will be local legends @bearfist - hailing from right here in Chelmsford, they’re well known on the scene and were once called ‘One of the most complete band to play the New Blood stage’ at Bloodstock Open Air.
Signing off the Friday night is the one are only @radpittradpitt - following their MASSIVE performance at Radio City in February, we HAD to invite them back for a headline slot at 28 Bay Days Later. Colchester’s finest are back to ask once more - what is the point in Piers Morgan?
Closing the Friday night until our 2am close is the wonderful @djdannyox who will be spinning a metal/punk/ska playlist of top tunes and requests!
SATURDAY 26th October - Midday - 2am
Starting the afternoon off fresh (albeit likely with a heavy head) we have DJ @jamie.haines1000 ripping his usual Radio City Metal Night tracks and requests.
Opening the live performance for the day all the way from Kent is the fantastic @wefoundthewreck with an Alt Rock, Acoustic and Punk set following their latest EP ‘Life Can Bite Me’ release in November 2023.
Next up is Nottingham’s Powerhouse duo @whiskystain, described to have ‘blues drenched riffs, hymn crushing hooks and a mean blast of bloody punch drums’, Whisky Stain Hand were hand picked by BBC introducing, scouted for Y Not, Bearded Theory, Deerstock Festival and others, the soundtrack to Sky Atlantic's hit series Ray Donovan... and they return to Radio City for the second time!
Third to take the stage on Saturday is the return of the fantastic @whosdrivingbearsdriving with their signature synth-laden pop-punk energy! They return to the stage for their first live show in over 12 years, and will be celebrating the release of their new EP, "Pushing a Pull Door". Keep an eye out, the new EP drops everywhere on Friday 26th April!
And finally - your 28 Bay Days Later headliner.
Returning to the stage for the first time in 8 years, we are unbelievably proud to announce that Essex’s finest @nevermeansmaybe will take to the stage with their to blow the roof off the place. Be ready to Inhale The Chaos!!
And of course, Bay Days royalty and creator DJ Rev will be on hand to see the party out on Saturday night.
Tickets will go on sale Saturday 4th May for the Friday Night and Sunday 5th May for the Saturday Night to give everyone a fair chance of getting hold of them. Our capacity is super limited, this will be an intimate and intense weekend of music. You won’t want to miss it!
