Our Annual Banquet is a time where we share what God has done at Harvest Evangelism over the past year and our vision for what we plan to continue doing in the future.The goal of this event is to not only to share what God has done, but invite you to be a part of it. Each year this banquet is our largest fundraising event and brings in a large percent of our annual operating budget.
The evening will open with a dinner that will be served from 6-7p after which our event will begin and last an hour.
This year we are excited to have Pastor Tim Dilena speaking for us. Tim Dilena is senior pastor of Times Square Church. He is the third senior pastor since the founding of the church by David Wilkerson in 1987.
In 1984 he moved to Detroit at the request of Gary Wilkerson, who was starting a church and needed “short-term help.” The Lord laid a burden on Pastor Tim’s heart and he stayed in Detroit to start Revival Tabernacle in a former triple-X theater. The church became a multicultural, multi-ethnic, international house of worship that is still thriving today.
In 2010, he was invited by Pastor Jim Cymbala to join The Brooklyn Tabernacle as Executive Pastor. After 5 years in Brooklyn, he joined Our Savior’s Church in Lafayette, Louisiana as Lead Pastor.
Pastor Tim attended Baylor University, Wayne State University and Moody Bible Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Corporate Finance and has taken extended studies in apologetics at Oxford University in England.
He is a regular speaker for the MLB and NFL chapels. He is the author of the “260 Journey,” a daily reading and Facebook devotional through the New Testament, which has participants joining from around the world.
He travels extensively with Gary Wilkerson and Nicky Cruz speaking at pastor conferences globally for World Challenge, the ministry founded by David Wilkerson, and sits on its board of directors.
Tim and his wife, Cindy, have four children, Christian, Anna, Grace and Lauryn.
