26th Lewes All-Day Singing

Join Rachel Jordan and singers from near and far for a full day of singing from The Sacred Harp (The new Denson, 2025 edition) at Trinity Church, South Malling, a beautiful space with wonderful acoustics, nestled at the bottom of Church Lane on the edge of Lewes.
Location: Trinity South Malling (St Michael the Archangel) Church Lane, Lewes BN7 2JL
**Once you are in the last narrow section of Church Lane keep going straight down the lane! The church will be on the right hand side. Neither BN7 2JA nor BN7 2JL is exactly on the church. If you enlarge the map the church is marked.
Schedule:
Doors open at 10:00am (tea, coffee, and biscuits available)
Singing begins at 10:30am
We finish around 4:00pm
There's no charge to attend, but we’ll have a collection to help cover costs.
Dinner on the grounds:
Please bring a prepared dish to share. The church has a small kitchen but no way to heat food, so bring something ready to serve. Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy lunch in the churchyard.
Respiratory Illness
There is no need to do a COVID test this year. However, if you have cold, COVID or flu-like symptoms, please do not come singing on the day.
New to Sacred Harp?
Come and give it a try. No experience needed. Loaner books are available, and you're welcome to sit, listen, or sing as much or as little as you like.
After the singing:
You’re welcome to join us for the post singing social at 27 Valence Road, Lewes BN7 1SJ. We have a few copies of Northern Harmony if people would like to sing something a little different.
We look forward to singing with you.
