26th Annual Congressional Basketball Game

For 26 years, the Congressional Basketball Game has brought together one of Capitol Hill’s most spirited rivalries — Members of Congress vs. lobbyists — battling for the coveted Capitol Hill Cup.

On the court, it’s competitive. Fast breaks. Deep threes. Tough defense. And yes — plenty of good old-fashioned trash talk.

Each year, Republicans and Democrats, lobbyists and congressional staff, come together for a cause greater than the rivalry — supporting kids in our nation’s capital. Proceeds help ensure children have access to housing, food, mentorship, and opportunity.

For one night, politics takes a back seat to purpose.

The competition is real. The Cup matters. But the real win is for the kids.
