Save the date to join us Sunday, June 23rd from 9am to 5pm for downtown Carlsbad's largest open air, outdoor art show.** Outdoor Art Show Featuring 130 Fine Artists **
Held every Summer since 1998, the Carlsbad Village Association has hosted Art in the Village, a free, one-day, open-air art show, that features fine artists from all over the region, including Mexico. All artwork is juried; patrons can meet the artists in their booths the day of the event. Oil, watercolor, mixed media, digital, photography, glasswork, woodworking, jewelry, pottery, and more will be on display and for purchase.
** Live Music **
Music is integral to this iconic event, and we are excited to welcome new and returning musicians to the Ting Internet Stage in 2024. We will kick off the morning with the beautiful keyboard tunes of Jemille Vialet. Then, get ready for Jehlad Hickson and his five-piece band. Jehlad was a Golden Buzzer winner on America's Got Talent and a top semi-finalist too! The Ramblin’ Sweethearts are back again this year with their Rockabilly vibe and energy by popular demand!
Sidewalk musicians will play throughout the venue to add a delightful ambiance to this amazing one-day fine art show.
** Cultural Arts Booth **
The City of Carlsbad will be hosting the Pop Up Art (formerly Family Open Studios) art-making booth for children and art enthusiasts of all ages. The City’s Arts Education team helps guide interested artists in creating a unique piece of artwork to bring home and enjoy. A face painter will also be nearby to add to the fun!

** Ride Your Bike and Park in the Free Bike Valet **
Consider riding your bike to the Village! Enjoy a complimentary bike valet service provided by the City of Carlsbad and operated by the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition. The bike valet is conveniently located at Engel & Volkers at 2965 Roosevelt Street, just steps away from the event. An attendant with the San Diego County Bike Coalition will attach a claim tag to your bike and give you a matching wristband. Enjoy the art show knowing your bike and accessories are kept safe and monitored in the valet area.
