Come celebrate the completion of the 25th Avenue Grade Separation Project!
About this Event

In 2017, Caltrain in cooperation with the City of San Mateo began construction on the 25th Avenue Grade Separation Project to improve safety and traffic flow, and reduce train horn noise. With funding from the California State Department of Transportation (Caltrans), California High Speed Rail Authority, San Mateo County Transportation Authority, and City of San Mateo, the $205.9 million project separated the railroad tracks from the road at E. 25th Avenue, created two new east-west connections at 28th and 31st Avenues, and built a new Hillsdale Station to better serve the community.

Please join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 17, 2021.
