The 25th Annual National LGBTQ Task Force Gala will return on Saturday, October 23, in an exciting new venue: the newly renovated Grand Ballroom at Miami Beach Convention Center! The Task Force Gala is an important South Florida institution, an evening for the LGBTQ community and its allies to come together and celebrate, honor heroes of the movement, recognize recent advancements towards equality, and raise money for the community on both the local and national level. The evening features a red carpet entrance and cocktail reception, an expansive high-end silent auction, a formal dinner, live entertainment, an awards ceremony over dessert, and an after party with dancing and a live DJ.Proceeds raised at the 2021 Gala will fuel the Task Force’s “All of Me, All the Time” campaign, an initiative to educate elected officials and the general public about the urgent need for federal non-discrimination protections. Proceeds from the 2021 Gala will also support the local South Florida LGBTQ community. The Task Force makes a substantial annual donation to The Miami Foundation’s LGBTQ Community Fund, where like-minded community service organizations are funded through a grant-making process. To date, more than $3.3 million has been given to 90 local LGBTQ programs! Your support of the Gala makes our work possible. Please join us.
