A day of friendly competition supporting the future of Alaska’s hospitality workforce. For 25 years, this tournament has helped fund education and workforce development through the Alaska CHARR Educational Fund.
Since 2001, the Charles H. Selman Scholarship has raised over $790,000 to support students pursuing careers in Alaska’s hospitality industry.
Each year the Educational Fund awards:
• $48,000 in scholarships to Alaskan students pursuing hospitality careers
• $20,000 in support to the ProStart® school-to-career culinary arts program
Your participation helps ensure the next generation of hospitality professionals has access to training, education, and career opportunities.
