Each person is given 22 pieces of paper & a graphite stick. As a group, we will explore Queens and make 256 graphite rubbings in 128 minutes
About this Event

0207 Gallery - 256 drawings in 128 minutes Workshop.

Everyone is given 22 pieces of paper and a graphite stick.

the objective of this workshop is to explore the local area and make graphite rubbings on paper. We will draw inspiration from the textures and objects we find and create unique artworks at a fast pace.

We will meet at the main entrance of MoMA PS1 ( 22-25 Jackson Avenue, Queens, NY 11101 ) at 10.45 am

and we will start the session at 11am.

no previous experience is needed as 0207 gallery staff will give a simple introduction and demonstration.

This specific workshop is hosted alongside Nima Shafiani @nima.shafiani , who works as an artist in today's London.

This type of workshop is great for getting outdoors, being active and making art in a small group.
