🇺🇸 HOMER — LET’S CELEBRATE AMERICA 250 TOGETHER! 🇺🇸
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Homer will join communities across the nation in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary — and we’re planning a HUGE hometown celebration to mark this once-in-a-generation milestone.
Following Homer’s annual 4th of July Parade, the America 250 celebration will take place at the HERC property from 4:00–8:00 PM with:
🍔 FREE hot dogs & hamburgers for the community
🎶 Live music performances
🍺 Beer garden
🎭 Community acts, skits, dance performances & comedians
🎈 Kids activities & games
🥧 Blue ribbon competitions featuring pies, pickles, preserves & more
☕ Food trucks & vendors with coffee, soda, ice cream and treats for purchase
Now comes the important part: WE NEED HOMER’S HELP to make this event happen!
Our goal is to raise $9,500 to help cover staging, entertainment, equipment, activities, supplies, logistics, and all the little details that turn a gathering into a truly memorable community celebration.
