“We have chemistry”… whether it’s a romantic connection or a new best friend, when you experience chemistry with someone you feel it on a deep level. We believe that shared feel-good experiences are natural catalysts for chemistry and we aim to organize events that ignite those sparks.

Location: Sign-in will be at the Grant Street entrance to the yard. If you enter through the back gate (Berryman St), please come to the front entrance to sign-in. Parking is somewhat limited so transit / walking / biking is encouraged.

Be sure to Bring: A reusable water bottle, snacks, layered clothing that can get dirty, a hat, and sunscreen. Gardening gloves if you have them! More details on their website here.

The volunteering portion will end around 12pm/12:30pm, but typically people like to go out for a bite/drink together after volunteering, so plan your schedule accordingly! If you leave early you might miss out on some of the best socialization time because people are most warmed up and feeling chatty after spending a couple hours together.

Come to multiple events and you’ll start to see familiar faces and make new friends more easily. We have a strong group of repeat volunteers and it’s quickly becoming a fun little community.
