Hike to Fossil Creek

Join us on a hike to one of my favorite spots in Arizona!! This is an easy hike that leads to a waterfall and swimming hole near the town of Camp Verde. Permit season ends Oct 2, so why not take advantage of the open season and get in one last swim?

We will meet at the NE corner of the Costco parking lot at 7 AM then carpool to the trail head (the drive is roughly 2 hours). The last leg of the drive is on a bumpy dirt road so an SUV is recommended for anyone driving. The hike is 2.5 miles round trip, relatively flat with shade for most of the trail. Cliff jumping is an option for those who wish to jump off the waterfall!

What to bring:
Gallon of water
Snacks
Swim suit
Towel
Hiking shoes
Water shoes (optional)
Jacket (it could get cold early in the morning).
