The FREE and FAMILY-FRIENDLY FESTIVAL takes its name from the original AZZ IZZ a 1970's Venice jazz club and imbues the spirit of the original Rebel Jazz Fest which took place 1960 in Newport Rhode Island.

This is the first full scale "Jazz" festival in Venice CA history and the only designated "Alternative Jazz Fest" on the west coast.
