This workshop is designed to enhance skills to those involved in trialling and scripting alternate postural equipment for clients of all ages; paediatric and adult.

We’ll expand on the strategies used for 24 hour postural care outside of the wheelchair. Practical decision making on best equipment selection for trial.

This interactive and dynamic workshop will facilitate:

● Knowledge of a range of equipment options for out of wheelchair postural care strategies

● Prevent/Protect against changes in body shape with emphasis on the chest, spine, and pelvis.

● Manage existing changes in body shape to prevent worsening contractures and promote comfort.

● Confidently select practical trial equipment options across postural seating and lying positioning systems.
