23rd Annual Wonder of Women (WOW)

Each year we gather at the annual WOW event in support of the mission of the Women & Girls Fund -- to improve the quality of life for all women and girls in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and Wolcott. The proceeds from the event benefit the grant awards made by the Fund every fall. Last year the Fund awarded $50,500 in grants to local organizations and since its establishment, over $776,000 has been awarded in grants.
We are thrilled to announce that the 23rd annual WOW event will feature storyteller, writer and comedian Robin Reiser as the keynote speaker. The evening will also highlight some of the 2023 grantees. Join us and over 400 attendees for an evening of inspiration and storytelling.
Seats for this year’s event are $65 and are now available by sending a check to Main Street Community Foundation, P.O. Box 2702, Bristol, CT 06010.
The Women & Girls Fund works to make it possible for women and girls to improve their conditions and opportunities. The Women & Girls Fund was established in 2001 as a community based endowment of the Main Street Community Foundation. The Fund exists because we believe in the potential of women and girls and the power they have to build strong communities. This fund serves women and girls of all ages in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and Wolcott.
