We are excited to invite you to participate in the 22nd Warsaw East European Conference (WEEC), organized by the SEW UW–Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw. Taking place from 1 July to 3 July 2026 in the heart of Warsaw, this year’s conference is titled:
International Order in Transition: Implications for Central and Eastern Europe.
We encourage contributions from diverse disciplines, including political science, international relations, security studies, economics, history, sociology, and the humanities, to reflect the multifaceted nature of the challenges facing the region. The conference aims to provide a collaborative space where academic perspectives intersect with practical insights to navigate the uncertainties ahead.
We welcome proposals for individual academic presentations as well as entire panel submissions (including Book panels). Submissions should address the conference theme or related topics concerning the historical, political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of the region.
We are open to institutional cooperation and offering partner institutions the opportunity to organize panels – please contact us directly to discuss available options.
