We're BAAAAACK!
It's been a long break, and it's about time we got this party started. Thanks to Stephen Dell, who'll be our organizer! Must've got tired of winning...
Our date and location are confirmed - but not much else! What can you contribute to make this event a success? Post it below, share far and wide with your friends, and cook up a hot one for your enemies!
Welcome one and All, the date for the 2026 Munich Chili Cookoff has been set and now it's time to tickle those tastebuds and clean off the dust from that Winning Chili recipe you haven't used before.
Vegetarian chilis are welcome too for their own category or put them up to be judged against the meaty ones (you know who you are!). Cookies are the free-est-form category we've got, do your best and we'll try to make sure you don't have any leftovers to take home. We look forward to seeing you all there and having your entrance fee donated to a yet-to-be-confirmed charity!
More details for anyone who hasn't been before:
*Entrance fees go to a charity. For reference, in 2014 we raised €445.
*Pay at the door - ENTRANTS : FREE! SPECTATORS : 5 Euros
*There is a VEGETARIAN Chili category.
*The judges ask those who are going for the Hottest Chili prize to please LABEL THEIR POTS specifically so we can save them for last.
*There will be at least three judges and they each need a portion, then after the judging all comers are welcome to sample the chilis. Please make one pot of chili per recipe entered.
*No ingredients are banned, no ingredients are required.
*Hotplates will hopefully be available, post below if you can bring one! Please bring your chili already prepared in a metal pot, not Tupperware!
*Creative chili names are highly encouraged!

Doors open to accept competitors at 14:00 hrs.
Judging starts at 15:00 hrs sharp.
