The ROH Walk commemorates and celebrates all Duke Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy (PTCT) patients and their families. For our in-person event, participants are able to enjoy a variety of fun activities, music and performances, photo opportunities, a silent auction for adults and kids, refreshments, and more! We walk laps around the Duke Center for Living track together with each lap being dedicated to a different group within the program that makes us the powerful community that we are. Along the way, we carry environmentally safe balloons decorated with patients’ names to honor and remember them. People stop, talk together, and enjoy the gift of being with each other. Finally, we release the balloons in honor and celebration of all the lives the Duke PTCT program has touched.
