21st Annual Aerostructure Car Show - Pinewood Derby

RULES:

Pinewood derby cars that do not conform to the rules listed below will be able to race only in a "special custom class" race.

Dimensions:

•Wheel base width to be 1-3/4"

•Wheel width to be up to 1/4"

•Width of car not to exceed 2-3/4"

•Car length not to exceed 10.00"

•Car height not to exceed 12.00"

•Underside height minimum 3/8"

(In order to roll on the track...)

Team:

•1 to 5 personnel per team

Weight:

•10oz MAX

Special Rules:

•Be creative except;

•No explosives

•No remote controlled cars

•Cars must roll on track

•Car frame must be made of wood

•Tires must be official Pinewood Derby Car Tires

TESTING AND RACE DAY

Testing Day:

•Testing will be held on 10/14/2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm

•This will be your opportunity to check your car against the rules and modify as needed

Race Day:

•Arrive early on Race day

•Racing from 11:15am-11:45am

•Races about every 2 minutes until one is left victorious

•Must keep car at event for judging and pictures (We WILL return your car to you)

•Award ceremony following for:

1st, 2nd and 3rd Fastest Car and Most Unique Design and 1st in "Special" class
