Join us on Thanksgiving morning to wobble before you gobble!PAL: Play. Advocate. Live Well. hosts the 20th Annual United Community Bank Turkey Day 8K, a community run/walk on Thanksgiving morning in downtown Spartanburg. Since 2005, this event has become a tradition that encourages residents and visitors to balance healthy lifestyles with holiday festivities!
Location: The race begins at Spring and Main Streets at 7:30 am at the Love Where You Live Mural. Water & bananas will be available for participants at the finish line.
Registration: The registration fee requires a *$15 donation towards active living and healthy eating initiatives in Spartanburg County. Please also bring a healthy canned good donation to benefit TOTAL Ministries.
Shirt Pick-up: A limited number of Turkey Day long sleeve shirts are available for purchase. Shirts can be picked up on site at the event OR beforehand at the PAL front porch (226 South Spring Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306) during these times:
Monday, Nov 25: 4pm- 6pm
Tuesday, Nov 26: 11:30am- 1:30pm
Wednesday, Nov 27: 10am- 2pm
*The Turkey Day 8K is not a sanctioned race & there will be no Turkey Day bibs this year.
