🌳🧄🧑🌾
This is a part-time, immersive training experience for people interested in building a deeper relationship with the land while learning how to grow diverse and bountiful food in ecologically-minded ways.
Over 33 weeks of hands-on engagement from February to October, students experience the full scope of the growing season: seed starting and propagation in the greenhouse to winter bed preparation after the harvest.
This program is valuable for anyone interested in exploring a future in small-scale vegetable production as well as anyone interested in learning growing skills for the purpose of homesteading, gardening, and feeding themselves and their community. Through this work, we can provide ourselves with healthy, free, and reciprocal food and medicine while connecting on a deeper level to the landscape in which we live.
📅 Tuesdays and Fridays, February 16th - October 15th, 2027 (breaks and special events detailed on the program webpage)
📍 Horn Farm Center
📝 SPACES VERY LIMITED - early enrollment is encouraged. Applications close on Sunday, January 31st, 2027.
