2027 Mardi Gras of SWLA Queens Pageant

Forms will be available August 1, 2026. Deadline for Entry Forms, Payment, and Zero-Tolerance Agreement is October 25th at 8:00pm (No exceptions)
Location is Rosa Hart Theatre, Lake Charles Event Center
Tiny 5-6 yrs, Petite 7-8 yrs, Little 9-10 yrs, Deb 11-12 yrs, Teen 13-15 yrs, Ms 24 up, Junior 16-17, Miss 18-23 yrs.
Ages: 5 years and up. Competitior will compete in the age Division she is on day of the event 11/7/26. LONG FORMALS FOR ALL DIVISIONS!
Residential Requirements for competing: Competitor, Parents, Stepparents, grandparents, and/or family member must reside in one of the five parishes listed, OR own land/property in one of the five parishes, OR competitor go to school in one of the five schools listed: Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, or Jeff Davis Parish.
Ms, Junior Miss, & Miss will have interview.
Teen, Ms., Junior Miss, & Miss will have a decorated mask competition.
First session for younger competitors is at 10::00 am.
Second session for older competitors is at 5pm with interview at 1pm. Interview will be on bio and Mardi Gras of Southwest Louisiana history and Mardi Gras history. DON'T BE NERVOUS!
Please be mindful of how many state or fair/festivals/local/organizations the competitor has at the time of competition. MGSWLA queens are held liable for a certain amount of State and /or fair/festival/local/organization titles. Plesse refer to entry form for this requirement.
All Queens are required to be present at ALL MGSWLA events/parades/media publicity/balls etc.
Zero-Tolerance Agreement must be reviewed and signed with payment and entry form for contestant to be confirmed.
