Event Summary

Join us for the Fourth Annual Facial Nerve Symposium, a two-day educational program focused on the latest advances in the management of facial nerve disorders. This unique course combines expert-led lectures, multidisciplinary perspectives, live patient demonstrations, and hands-on cadaver dissection training.

Day 1 features didactic lectures at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, while Day 2 offers an immersive hands-on course at Providence Saint John's Health Center.

Featured guest speaker Gregory Borschel, MD, FAAP, FACS, will share his expertise in facial paralysis, nerve injuries, corneal neurotization, and microvascular reconstruction.



About the Course

The Facial Nerve Symposium brings together leading surgeons, therapists, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals for a comprehensive learning experience focused on the evaluation and treatment of facial paralysis.

Participants will gain practical insights into both acute facial nerve injury and chronic facial paralysis management through lectures, case discussions, multidisciplinary presentations, and cadaver-based surgical training.

Dr. Borschel is an internationally recognized expert in peripheral nerve surgery whose practice focuses on nerve injuries, corneal neurotization, facial paralysis, and microvascular reconstruction.

Dr. Kochhar is double board-certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His practice focuses on facial paralysis, facial nerve disorders, facial reanimation, and reconstructive surgery.
