Doctors In Recital is proud to announce its 2027 Recipients for its annual benefit concert to be held Saturday, January 30, 2027 at The Weidner.
Community Recipients include The Brain Center of Green Bay, Curative Connections, and N E W Community Clinic. Its Music Education Recipient is De Pere School District Middle School Music.
Guided by the tagline,
“Making a Difference by Making Music,” Doctors In Recital raises vital funds
to strengthen community well-being across Northeastern Wisconsin.
The Brain Center of Green Bay will use proceeds to advance its Community Education and Outreach Program. As a free community resource dedicated to lifelong brain health, it serves individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of ability to pay. This funding will expand outreach into
schools, deepen collaborations with partner organizations, and develop resources for bilingual populations.
The program also promotes prevention and proactive wellness through research and advocacy.
Curative Connections will benefit through the development of a new Caregiver Support Pilot Program. Curative Connections currently serves approximately 1,600 individuals each week
through programs for adults with memory loss, dementia, disabilities or brain injury. Funds from the concert will help create educational opportunities and facilitate support groups for caregivers.
N.E.W. Community Clinic’s (NEWCC) Employee Scholarship Program also will receive support from this year’s event. NEWCC is dedicated to providing
compassionate, high-quality care that honors the dignity and well-being of every individual they serve. Funding for their Employee Scholarship Program will expand access to continuing education for clinic staff who otherwise lack professional development resources, helping to ensure they have the skills and training needed to deliver exceptional care to the community.
With support from Doctors in Recital, De Pere Middle School is expanding its Exploring and Performing Music programs for students. The addition of electric pianos removes financial barriers to musical education, opening doors to artistic expression and personal growth. This partnership ensures more students can pursue their passions, fostering long-term confidence and community.
