We are delighted to have our esteemed teacher Ajahn Brahmali with us for this year-end sutta & meditation retreat. Enjoy and immerse in bliss at a 4-star hotel in Bintan.

Theme: An Inspiring and Practical Analysis of the Profound Verses of the Aṭṭhaka-vagga of the Sutta Nipāta

This year's retreat will focus on the Aṭṭhaka-vagga, a collection of ancient poems that forms a core part of the Sutta Nipāta. Ajahn Brahmali will explore how these remarkable verses present the spiritual path in a direct, profound, and uncompromising way, maintaining a clear focus on the goal of practice.

IMPORTANT:

1) Price - Prices listed on poster are for BF Members only; for non-BF Members please add S$50/pax. Prices include 6 nights’ accommodation, conference hall usage, breakfast (19-24 Dec), lunch (18-24 Dec), afternoon tea (18-23 Dec), and ferry tickets (subject to availability), but do not include insurance, dinner, tips & other incidentals. No refunds will be entertained. If you cannot attend, you may choose to transfer your place to another person or treat it as a donation to Buddhist Fellowship.

2) Rooming - Please try to get your own roommate. If you do not have one, BF will try to pair you up. However, if BF cannot match you with a roommate, we will upgrade you to a single room at your expense.

3) Please pay by dates specified for early bird prices, otherwise full fees will be charged.

HOW to get there & back?

• You are responsible for your transportation to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Please arrive at the ferry terminal by 8am on 18 Dec and leave Bintan after the retreat on 24 Dec.
• Hotel will purchase the group's ferry tickets (both ways) and provide FREE transfers to and fro hotel and the Bintan Resort ferry terminal.
• Please purchase your personal travel insurance for the duration of your stay.

Getting there on 18 Dec 2026:

You will be departing from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

Please meet at the terminal before 8am.

Upon arriving at Bintan, you will be transferred to the hotel in a FREE shuttle service provided by the hotel - a 15-min ride from the ferry terminal.

Getting back on 24 Dec 2026:

You will be arriving at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore.

If you require BF to arrange bus transport from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Paya Lebar MRT station, please indicate on Eventbrite. There may be extra costs for retreatants taking the bus.
