Assist ME, a 99% nonprofit for 12+ years, is hosting the 2026 Wheels & Walker-thon fundraiser on September 12th at Park Road Park in Charlotte. The fully accessible walk or roll 5K helps us provide FREE mobility device such as wheelchairs and hospital beds to help children and adults overcome temporary or long term mobility challenges. You can help by purchasing tickets for a fun day of activities, hosting a fundraising team (great prizes available) or simply donate to our mission at https://assistmenc.com/events/
