Philadelphia Welcoming Awards 2026

The 2026 Welcoming Awards ceremony is October 1st at City Hall! Join the Office of Immigrant Affairs as we honor the City and community leaders, agencies, and organizations who have worked tirelessly to make Philadelphia a more inclusive and welcoming place for all.

This year's Welcoming Awards will honor awardees in the following categories: Education Excellence, Public Safety Partnership, Arts and Culture Appreciation, Economic Empowerment, Health and Wellness Achievement, Clean and Green, and Youth Leadership.

Attendees of the Welcoming Awards ceremony can expect to enjoy cultural performances, followed by remarks by City officials and an introduction of the awards. The ceremony will then feature City and community leaders, agencies, and organizations dedicated to uplifting and empowering Philadelphia's immigrant communities. The award ceremony will conclude with opportunities for leaders to network and spend time with one another in fellowship. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

Please note: All visitors must use the Northeast entrance of City Hall and present valid photo identification to security in order to receive a visitor’s badge. You will sign in with security and then head upstairs via stairs or elevator. The Mayor's Reception Room is Room 200.
