Join us under the Wayne Theatre marquee on the last Wednesday of the month from 6-8pm from May 27th to August 26th, 2026. Admission is Pay What You Will.
Tonight, May 27th, 6-8pm we will have Little Walter and the Convictions.
Since they hit the scene in the summer of 2011, Little Walter & the Convictions have been winning over local fans and critics alike with their live club renditions of the greatest hits of the 60’s rock music scene. From the Animals and the Beatles to the Yardbirds and the Zombies, the music of the 60’s represents for many music fans the zenith of live rock’n’roll, with its infectious garage band beat and mod melodies. Little Walter & the Convictions capture the wonderful magic of live rock’n’roll from the seminal era of the 60’s.
Based in Staunton, Virginia, Little Walter and the Convictions are:
Lewis Bagwell, lead Vocalist
Carolyn Whitfield Dull , Bass and Vocals
Mike Ritchie, Keyboards
Frank Cain, Drums
John Whitfield, Guitar and Vocals
Bill Whitford, Sound and Vocals
Main Street will be closed in front of the Wayne Theatre for the concerts. There will be some chairs available for use, but you may want to bring a lawn chair, if you have one. There will be concessions and restrooms available at the Wayne Theatre during the concert. We will have additional food trucks and beer outside the theatre as well!
