2026 WAWDF Weekend #3 - Performances & Workshops

World Arts West is proud to announce the return of our annual Dance Festival!

The Festival will be presented over three weekends in July, August and September. This year our Festival theme is “Legacy of Liberation!”

We are exploring the themes of Legacy, Empowerment and Belonging leading up to our 50th Anniversary in 2028.

Weekend Three we are back at the East Meadow of Presidio Tunnel Tops!

Live dance performances by Academy of Danse Libre, Los Lupeños, Nikka Maynard and Uzumaru.

Tainah Damasceno and LaKiesha Golden will lead us in community Brazilian and Line dances for the whole family to join!

The Presidio is a beautiful park setting with accessible paths, bathrooms, and lawn seating. Bring your family and friends, watch the show, and then get ready to get on the dance floor. As always this weekend is free and open to the public. Grab your lawn chair, blanket, stop by the food trucks, and enjoy the day!

• acknowledge the risk of participation. Movement activities inherently carry a risk of injury, and by participating, you voluntarily assume those risks.
