Join VFW and Auxiliary leaders from across Alabama for the 2026 Department of Alabama School of Instruction!
This annual training event is designed to prepare Post and District leaders for a successful year of service to our veterans, their families, and our communities. Whether you're a seasoned leader or newly elected, you'll gain valuable knowledge, updates on programs, leadership training, and the opportunity to network with fellow Comrades from around the state.

Friday, August 21, 2026 (1:00 PM) – Sunday, August 23, 2026 (12:00 PM CDT)
Important Information
⭐ Attendance is required for all Post Commanders, Quartermasters, and newly elected Trustees to be eligible for All-State recognition.
🏨 Hotel Reservations:
Room reservations close July 21, 2026, or sooner if the room block sells out.
💲 Registration:
Early Bird Registration: Ends July 31, 2026
Registration increases to $70 after July 31 and for walk-in registrations.
🎁 Silent Auction
Please bring an item to donate to the UXO Silent Auction. Your generosity helps support programs and activities that benefit veterans throughout our region.
