2026 Varsity Cup

The Victoria Advocate is thrilled to announce that the search for the region's most outstanding student-athletes has officially begun! We are now accepting nominations for the 2026 Varsity Cup, a prestigious honor dedicated to recognizing those who define "excellence" both in the heat of competition and through their contributions to our community.
This is more than just a sports award; it is a celebration of the leaders, scholars, and helpers who make the Victoria area proud. We invite coaches, teachers, and community members to nominate standout students who embody the spirit of the Varsity Cup.
What Makes a Varsity Cup Nominee?
To ensure this honor represents the highest standard of student-athlete, all nominees must meet the following mandatory criteria:
Academic Excellence: Success starts in the classroom. All nominees must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Selfless Service: We look for athletes who give back. Nominees must have at least 10+ hours of verifiable community service or volunteering completed within this year.
Exemplary Character: Talent gets you on the field, but character leads the team. You must provide a written description highlighting the student’s positive impact on their teammates and their school.
