The Fredericksburg Community Orchestra will present the 2026 Van der Stucken Festival on Saturday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph's Halle (212 W. San Antonio) in Fredericksburg.
The festival honors Frank Van der Stucken, a composer and conductor born in Fredericksburg in 1858 who became an internationally renowned musical leader.
The evening will feature Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" performed by guest soloist Dr. Fagner Magrinelli Rocha with the Fredericksburg Community Orchestra and musicians from Angelo State University's Symphony Orchestra.
Vivaldi's beloved work consists of four violin concertos depicting the seasons through music—from spring bird songs and summer thunderstorms to autumn hunting scenes and winter's icy landscape.
