2026 Valley Fever Walk - Caminata por la Fiebre del Valle

The Valley Fever Walk is an annual community event dedicated to raising awareness, education, and support for individuals and families affected by Valley Fever, a serious and often misdiagnosed fungal disease prevalent in California and the Central Valley. Hosted by the Valley Fever Institute at Kern Medical in partnership with the Kern Medical Foundation, the walk brings together survivors, healthcare professionals, and community members to promote early diagnosis, patient support, and public understanding of the disease.

The 2026 Valley Fever Walk, themed “Strike Out Valley Fever,” is a fun, family-friendly event that unites the community in a shared effort to combat Valley Fever while supporting critical education, outreach, research, and advocacy initiatives.
