2026 UKHSA Air Quality and Public Health Stakeholder Event
About this Event
Welcome
As part of the UK Health Security Agency’s (UKHSA) ongoing work programme on air quality, the Annual Air Pollution and Public Health Stakeholder event is held to inform wider stakeholders of developments, giving them the opportunity to contribute to, and comment on, future work plans. We are pleased to announce the 2026 Air Quality and Public Health Stakeholder event, that will take place in Nottingham on the 18th November 2026.
The meeting is organised by the Air Quality and Public Health team within the Environmental Hazards and Emergencies Department at UKHSA. In previous years, feedback received has helped to focus efforts on advocacy, awareness-raising and providing authoritative, evidence-based advice on the impacts of air pollution on health in the UK. This event is also an opportunity to hear from national and local government and other stakeholders on the latest evidence, guidance, tools and resources available to improve our indoor and outdoor air quality.
The day before this event, UKHSA will host a sister event ‘UKHSA Annual Outdoor and Indoor Air Pollution Research Review Meeting’ on 17th November 2026. The research review meeting offers a valuable opportunity to network with leading academics in air pollution and health research. Please see further details on the (Research Review meeting).
Who should attend:
Professionals with an interest in air pollution, including public health and environmental health teams; clinicians; specialists in indoor and outdoor air quality, transport and spatial planning; housing; representatives from government departments and agencies; voluntary and community sector organisations and academics.
