We would also like to acknowledge that the Career Expo is being held during Ramadan. With a focus on holding an event that is inclusive and creates space for this important observance, we would like to make you aware of things we will have in place:

• A separate room has been booked at Hart House, as a reflection/multi-faith space for anyone who may wish/need to use it;
• Ablution/Wudu facilities are available in both male and female washrooms on the 2nd floor, across from Debates room;
• Event scheduling starts as early as possible and wraps up around 3pm.

Info: Welcome and Keynote Speaker - Dr. Catherine Chandler-Crichlow is Dean at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Prior to this, she was the Executive Director of Career Management and Corporate Recruiting and member of their Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Executive Council at Ivey Business School at Western University. She also headed 3C Workforce Solutions, an organization that conducts research to determine talent needs across major sectors in Ontario.
Dr. Chandler-Crichlow was an executive in the financial services sector, a member of the federal Advisory Panel on Canada’s International Education Strategy, as well as a member of the External Advisory Committee on Inclusion and Diversity of the Ontario Public Service. She is Board Chair of the largest immigrant mentorship network in Canada and was selected by The Philanthropist as one of Canada’s leaders in the non-profit sector.
Dr. Chandler-Crichlow holds a doctorate in adult education from the University of Toro
