About this Event
The Transition Summit is a FREE, collaborative evening event specifically designed to empower high school seniors with disabilities and their families with vital resources for the transition from high school to college and career.
This summit is OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS (and their families) currently attending surrounding school districts who are planning their next steps after graduation!
We are proudly hosted by Riverside City College (RCC) , in partnership with Southern California Resource Services for Independent Living (SCRS-IL), Fiesta Educativa , and Riverside Unified School District's (RUSD) WorkAbility I team.
What You Will Learn
Join us to learn more about essential programs and services that support the transition process:
- RCC Resources: Get details on Financial Aid, Outreach, Career and Technical Education, and the Disability Resource Center.
- Community Support: Connect with the RCC PACT Program, DOR, SCRS-IL and other local community resources

Event Schedule
4:30 PM: Resource Fair & Food. Start your evening by visiting with resource providers and enjoying complimentary food and drinks.
5:00 PM: Navigating RCC Presentations. Learn directly from the Welcome Center, Disability Resource Center (DRC), Financial Aid, and Career Technical Education (CTE).
7:00 PM: Breakouts & Expert Q&A. Follow up with specific providers and get your individual questions answered.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
We welcome Families, Educators, Community Partners and Students with IEPs or 504 Plans from all of Riverside and the surrounding communities.
