After a summer filled with thoughtful, challenging, and inspiring voices, we’re wrapping up Asbury’s 2026 Summer Preaching Series with someone who usually works behind the scenes but has never been accused of staying quiet: Chris Kincade.
Chris serves Asbury through youth ministry and communications, bringing together his love of storytelling, musicals, justice, inclusion, and a faith that is never afraid to ask difficult questions.
This Sunday, Chris will draw from Matthew 16:13–20 and the musical Hadestown to explore what happens when fear tells us to turn back, love calls us forward, and faith asks us to keep walking even when we cannot see the entire road ahead.
Expect music, storytelling, honest questions, a little humor, and a message about courage, doubt, love, and the kind of faith that can stand at the very gates of hell and still choose hope.
