Please note: Lamont Library is not open to the public. A list of registrants will be provided to campus security in advance of the meeting in order to ensure access to the library.

Registration Deadline

For catering and security purposes, please register by April 9, 2026.

Pre-Conference Dinner

There will be a social dinner gathering on Thursday, April 16 for those who would like to attend. Details will be sent via email.

First-Time Attendees

If this is your first time attending a NEMLA meeting, registration is free. You may also apply to have some of your travel expenses covered. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transportation and Parking

Conference attendees are strongly encouraged to take public transit, if possible. Harvard is located on the Red Line. See the MBTA website for more information.

Campus parking is available for $25/day. Permits can be purchased up to 7 days in advance. See Harvard's Short-Term Parking page for more information.

Public parking is extremely limited around Harvard Square. There are metered parking spaces available around the square, though they are usually quite full.

Accessibility

Conference events are scheduled in Lamont Library, the Eda Kuhn Loeb Music Library, and Houghton Library. Each of these spaces is accessible via automatic door and ramp. Each of these spaces offers gender-inclusive restrooms. Assistive listening devices may be requested for the Lamont Forum Room.
