Join us for the 2026 Spirituality & Psychotherapy Conference at Christian Theological Seminary on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7, 2026. Froma Walsh, PhD, will be speaking on “Spirituality & Resilience: Strengthening Relational Bonds through Challenging Times.”
CEUs (6.5 hours) will be available after the conference based on attendance. Please watch for additional instructions by email immediately following the event.

Speaker Froma Walsh, PhD is the leading international authority on family resilience in facing adversity. Froma Walsh, PhD is Professor Emerita in the Crown School and the Dept. of Psychiatry, at the University of Chicago, and Co-Founder/Co-Director, Chicago Center for Family Health. Dr. Walsh is the leading international authority on family resilience in facing adversity. Her resilience-oriented, systemic practice approach integrates relational, socio-cultural, and spiritual influences to foster coping, adaptation and the ability to flourish.
Dr. Walsh, a Clinical Psychologist and MFT Fellow, is Past President, American Family Therapy Academy; Past Editor, Journal of Marital & Family Therapy; and recipient of many awards for her distinguished contributions to family systems, mental health, and pastoral care. With over 120 scholarly publications, her noted books for training and practice include Normal Family Processes: Diversity & Complexity; Strengthening Family Resilience; Spiritual Resources in Family Therapy; and Complex & Traumatic Loss: Fostering Healing and Resilience (2023).
