2026 Southwest Washington Gambler 500

Let’s see how well Gambler 500 cars handle the evergreen forests and mountains of Southwest Washington! This'll be a point A to point B run through Yacolt Burn State Forest, the north side of the Columbia River Gorge, Gifford Pinchot National Forest and the foothills of Mt. Adams! Bring your off roading equipment, your camping gear, your recovery gear and your gambler rig because it's gonna be a fun one! ABG! 🇺🇸🏁🌲🚗🚙🦅🦌🏔️
We'll be meeting up at Grove Field the morning of the run, parking there opens at 5am. A discovery pass and a fire extinguisher is required for entry to the event and a northwest forest pass isn't required but recommended. Pass and extinguisher checks followed by sticker sales will begin at 8am, drivers meeting at 8:45am and we'll head out at 9am. Entry is free, stickers will be $5. Absolutely no donuts, burnouts or sirens at Grove Field, violation will result in a ban from all Wild Timbers hosted events!
For the drive itself everyone regardless of rig capability will do pretty much the same route which has been posted on OnX Offroad, along with a very detailed cords log. Both the OnX link and the log can be found in the discussion. We’ll pass the dump in Stevenson so that’s a good place to dump your trash. Once we get to the end camp we can party. No wood fires though due to wildfire risk, bring a propane fire stove. Pretty much think of this as a warm up for both the 2026 OG and the 2026 WAG.
