2026 SIU Alumni St. Louis Trivia Night

The St. Louis Area Alumni Group of the SIU Alumni Association is hosting the 2026 St. Louis Trivia Night at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.) Friday, January 23 in the Shrewsbury City Center, located at 5200 Shrewsbury Avenue in Shrewsbury, Missouri. Alumni are welcome to form teams (8 players maximum) to compete in a trivia competition, as well as bid on items during a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit scholarships for St. Louis area students to attend SIU Carbondale, which is inching ever closer to its $25,000 endowment goal!

You'll also have the opportunity to bid in a silent auction featuring various items donated by local businesses and organizations.

Cash Prizes:

1st Place - $250

2nd Place - $150

Register by January 16 to save $40 per table and receive a free mulligan. Mulligans can also be purchased at the event (5 for $10, limit 1 pack per table). You may also bring canned food items for additional mulligans (8 items for 1 mulligan / 16 items for 2 mulligans). Items will be donated to the Collinsville Food Pantry.

Bottled water will be provided. You may bring your own food, snacks, and beverages.

Volunteers will be needed to set up and assist with hosting throughout the night. Sponsors will also be sought for each round, as well as items for the silent auction. Please contact Cathie Mieldezis at [email protected] if you would like to help or contribute.
