2026 Rocky Mountain Sacred Harp Convention

Please join the Colorado Sacred Harp singing community on the third Sunday and Saturday before in July for the 32nd annual Rocky Mountain Convention, Colorado Session. We will sing from the Sacred Harp 2025 Edition on Saturday and the Cooper Revision on Sunday. No experience is needed; there is no cost to attend; and newcomers are warmly welcome.
When: July 18-19, 2026
Registration begins at 9:00 am
Singing from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm
Dinner on the grounds at noon
Where: Park Hill Masonic Lodge
4819 Montview Blvd
Denver, CO 80207
This venue is wheelchair accessible by a ramp at the main entrance.
What We Will Provide: songbooks to borrow, water/coffee/tea.
Please Bring: Your voice, enthusiasm, and a potluck dish to share if you’re able!
COVID Protocols: We encourage singers to be vaccinated for COVID. Masking and testing will not be required (though participants are welcome to do so). If you feel ill, or if you know you have been exposed to COVID immediately before the singing, please stay home and get well!

Saturday 7/18: Saturday social details to come!
Monday 7/20: Spend the day with us at Paul and Marybeth's home in Gold Hill, 10 miles west and 3000 feet above Boulder.
Come any time after 9:00. We’ll lead a ~two hour moderate hike at 10:00. Non-hikers and later arrivals will enjoy food and conversation (or shorter walks). Lunch at about noon. We’ll sing from about 1:00-4:00 from the Sacred Harp and Cooper books.
Monday 7/20: After singing in Gold Hill, join us for our usual Monday night singing in Denver, 6:30-9pm.
