2026 Prizegiving - times to be confirmed

The 2026 Prize giving date has been set for Saturday 19th September at the Westbrook School Hall.
Due to the size of the club and whanau wanting to support. We need to split prize giving into two sessions; Session 1 - 5-8th Grades and Session 2 - 9-13th Grades.
(If you have tamariki in both groups, you are welcome to attend the prize giving in its entirety).
Times are to be confirmed, but tentatively the schedule will be;
Session 1 - Grades 5-8 (Juniors)
10.00am - Uniform hand-in. If you still have a uniform, please return it to the table upon entry. This needs to be inspected for damages and checked back in, so please allow us some time to carry this out.
10:15am - Grades 5-8 seated in team lines for 10:30am start
10.30am - Prize giving starts, teams will be called up one at a time on stage for certificate and award presentations.
11.15am - Intermission Grades 5-8 can collect their free sausage sizzle and leave if they wish.
Session 2 - Grades 9-13 (Seniors)
11:15am - Grades 9-13 seated in team lines for 11:30am start
11.30am - Prize giving starts, teams will be called up one at a time on stage for certificate and award presentations.
12.30pm - Prize giving complete Grades 9-13 can collect their free sausage sizzle.
👉 Uniform Returns – Important
All uniforms must be handed in on the day before prizegiving starts. Please check your child’s uniform beforehand:
✔ Spot clean stains and wash so they are fresh and tidy.
✔ Repair any damage if possible.
✔ Missing drawstrings are not a problem – don’t worry about those.
❌ Please don’t hand back uniforms dirty, crumpled, or smelling like they’ve been hiding at the bottom of a gear bag all season!
If you can’t attend prizegiving, please make arrangements for your uniform to be returned (through your coach, a teammate/friend, or another family)
A $40 fee may be invoiced to your account for severely damaged or stained uniforms.
💡 If you can’t be there in person, please arrange for someone else (coach, a teammate/friend, or another family) to return your child’s uniform and collect their photo, certificate, and gift. Or contact the club to arrange another way/time.
Your coaches might be in contact with you in regards to their own team presentations.
