The 2026 NZ National Championship for the Sunburst Class will be held at Wakatere Boating Club, Narrow Neck, Devonport, Auckland in January 2026. With 3 fleets: the Brooke fleet (spinnaker) championship fleet; the Taihoa fleet (non-spinnaker) fleet; and the new Cruising fleet - it is open to all ages with prizes ranging from the Wilson & Horton Cup (Line Honours) to the Muritai One Ton Cup (Highest placed crew with a combined age of 100 years or more).
